With over 30 years of experience as both residents and regular travellers to the Land of the Rising Sun, we've crafted these guides to simplify your trip planning and help you discover the beauty and culture of this amazing country with minimal stress, minimal time-wasting and minimal head-scratching. Our concise itineraries are designed to be used on a mobile device, providing an app-like experience and making them practical for when you're out and about in Japan. Each day of each itinerary is carefully planned and broken down into morning, afternoon and evening, with transport connections and realistic schedules. And because we know you can't always count on the weather, we've included suggestions for rainy day destinations, as well as ideas for (gentle) adventures on the day you arrive in or leave from Japan. The itineraries also provide info on what tickets you should book in advance.
